Originally, I was going to stop at the birth. Where Victoire was all "He should be here" and then be done, but the hopeless romantic in me wanted them to end up together. Forever and all that rot. Dominique more of didn't want to fall into the whole "I have to marry you because you got me up the spout" mindset, and I think she was protecting herself more than Teddy, despite what she seemed to think, because men are not good to her. She knows this, she also knows Teddy is good to her, and when he comes to that beach it's charged. The wands I chose for them were specific cuts of wood for that reason. Hers Rowan to his Elder. And once he knows it's easy to acquiesce, because, in my mind, they just fall together easily. Both are also not good with words, in my mind.

All the other characters kept trying to take over my mind so I enjoyed the hell out of writing them <3333333

I kept them not married because she needs that safety net of not feeling bound. Not feeling owned, and she has an intense urge to rebel against the conventions of her family--even if the way she is with him shows how much she craves them. She's a walking contradiction.

Anyways thank you for your reply, I enjoyed it <333333333
